The NSW Caravan and Camping Industry Association (CCIA) today announced CEO Lyndel Gray will step down from the position she has held for 13 years at the beginning of May this year.
As the CEO of the Association she has been instrumental in building its reputation as the peak body for the caravan and camping, land lease living and manufactured housing industries in NSW.
“Lyndel’s strong leadership has been transformative, driving significant growth for the industry and our Association during her tenure. ” CCIA President Mark Lindsay said.
“Her passionate and innovative approach has seen significant improvements in the scale and financial performance of our hallmark Supershow and regional Expos, and through establishing a valuable long-term partnership with Destination NSW, she has delivered highly valuable promotional campaigns for our sector.
Ms Gray said she is proud of what has been accomplished during her time with the Association. While stepping away from her role, she remains committed to contributing her extensive knowledge and experience to the tourism industry through a range of board positions, including as Chair of Destination Sydney Surrounds South and Deputy Chair of Surfing NSW.
“I am passionate about the tourism industry, and it has been an absolute privilege to work alongside such a talented team and a highly committed Board, all united in their dedication to supporting and advancing the caravan and camping and land lease living sectors,” Ms Gray said.
“There is still enormous potential for growth, but the time is right for me to pass the leadership on and explore new opportunities, and I look forward to continuing and expanding my involvement with the industry through my board roles.”
“Lyndel has been an exceptional leader and developed an experienced and highly talented team. The Association is in great shape due to her efforts. We thank her for her dedication and wish her every success in the future,” Mr Lindsay said.
