The Ninth Annual Caravan Camping Holiday Expo is Set to Attract Huge
Crowds at the Newcastle Showground Next Week!
The Expo is one of The Newcastle Entertainment Centre and Showground’s biggest events of the year, bringing over 160 exhibitors on-site to showcase the latest in outdoor adventuring products and destinations.
Thursday 7 February 2019 – The Caravan Camping Industry Association (CCIA) NSW is bringing the best of outdoor adventuring to the Hunter region for four huge days next week.
Caravanning and camping is a booming industry that contributes significantly to the local tourism economy of the Hunter and NSW North Coast. The regions combined – renowned for their pristine beaches, top wineries, and native bushland – hosted over 1.5 million camping
and caravan trips last year.
Visitors spent a total of 1.2 million caravanning and camping nights in the Hunter, a 12% increase on the previous year, and 5.4 million caravanning and camping nights in the NSW North Coast, up 2% from the previous year.
The Expo is set to attract outdoor enthusiasts from across the region with its stellar line up of products, experts and holiday services.
It will bring over 160 exhibitors specialising in the latest caravans, motorhomes, campervans, camper trailers, slide-ons, tents, camping equipment, 4WD accessories, holiday parks and popular tourism destinations to the Newcastle Entertainment Centre and Showground.
Visitors will be able to check out the latest camping and caravanning products and discover some of the best NSW holiday destinations and parks.
Kids can enjoy FREE activities including a live reptile display, jumping castle, inflatable obstacle course and giant slide.

TIME: 9am – 5pm Thursday to Saturday and 9am – 4pm Sunday
COST FOR PUBLIC: $15 for adults and $10 for concession. Children 16 and under are FREE when accompanied by a paying adult.
